Le chien est le meilleur ami de l'homme mais le cheval occupe notre pensée et on le voit partout : sa seule présence suscite l'émoi, on l'imagine apporter les éclairs pour Zeus et on a donné son nom à des animaux qui peuplent les rivières et les mers. Il est aussi au centre de Sin4tr4, premier album d'Australasia. Le blackgaze instrumental n'y est pas que contemplatif : les riffs black metal nous font voyager à grand galop sur tous les continents. C'est rafraîchissant et on s'y sent libre !

Planks' musical direction has always been hard to grasp because the band blended so many different styles - metal and non-metal - and also kept changing them from album to album (my personal favorite being "Funeral Mouth"). The output at hand also confuses the listener with many different symphonic moods and transitioning tracks whereas the underlying emotional concept remains deeply rooted in heavy darkness and obscurity. This one takes time, but it is fully worth it.
